Accessibility Statement
Giuliani Builders wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, or other assistive technology. This page sets out the standard we work to, what is in place, what is still being fixed, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

1. Our Commitment
Giuliani Builders wants everyone to be able to use giulianibuilders.net, including people with disabilities. We build this website with accessibility in mind, and we keep checking and fixing it as pages change.
2. The Standard We Follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities.
We believe this website partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conforms means some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. Those parts are listed under Known Limitations below, and we welcome your feedback on anything we have missed.
3. What We Have Done
- Pages use real headings and landmarks, and every page has a Skip to content link, so screen reader and keyboard users can move around quickly.
- Meaningful images have text alternatives.
- Text colors are checked for contrast. A few decorative numbers and some small print still fall short and are listed under Known Limitations.
- Links, buttons, galleries, the before and after sliders, and forms can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Form fields have labels, and errors are explained in text.
- Scroll animations, smooth scrolling and background video stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
- We test key pages with automated tools and with a keyboard.
4. Accessibility Preferences on This Site
This site includes an optional accessibility menu, opened with the Accessibility options tab on the right edge of the screen. It lets you enlarge text, add spacing, switch to a more readable font, change contrast or color saturation, highlight links and headings, use a reading guide, stop animations, enlarge the cursor, strengthen focus outlines, have text read aloud, and jump to any section of the page.
Your choices are saved only in your browser on this device. We do not collect them. The menu is a convenience: it is not how this site meets accessibility standards, and it does not replace the screen reader, magnifier or other assistive technology you already use.
5. Tools You May Already Have
- Zoom in or out with Ctrl and + or - (Cmd on a Mac).
- Reader view in Safari, Firefox and Edge shows a page as plain, resizable text.
- Your device's settings can enlarge text, increase contrast, reduce motion, or turn on a screen reader such as VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA or JAWS.
The W3C's Better Web Browsing guide explains these settings for every major browser.
6. Known Limitations
- The large step numbers on the home page and the service pages, the small print under the consultation and contact forms, and the initials in the review badge are lighter than the contrast standard asks for.
- The background video at the top of the home page has no pause button. It does not play when your device is set to reduce motion, and the Stop animations option in the accessibility menu pauses it.
- The Services and Areas menus in the header, and the menu on phones, do not close with the Escape key yet.
- The project walkthrough videos and our company film do not have captions or a transcript yet.
The chat assistant on this site comes from another provider, and we cannot fully control its content. If any of it does not work for you, contact us and we will help another way.
7. Compatibility
This site is designed to work with recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox, and with common screen readers including VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS.
